Glenaire Retirement Community

Cary, NC

A three-story building with the first floor a structural steel and concrete podium with wood framing above. The ground floor has covered parking for the tenants. The exterior skin is composed of brick and fiber cement siding. The roof system is a wood truss with asphalt shingles.

This project was built along the property setback lines which required the use of soil nailing and concrete retaining walls. The close proximity of neighbors required us to keep them informed of all construction activities throughout the duration of the project.
