Tom Antoine
Tom Antoine brings over 25 years of construction experience. Tom’s broad range of technical experience includes office, health care, hospitality, multi-family, retail, and institutional with both plan & spec and design/build projects. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, a Juris Doctor, and a Legum Magister. Tom’s favorite part of the construction industry is how dynamic it is. Tom loves the broad range of complicated problems to solve and the interesting people that he meets daily. Tom spends his free time with his wife, his college sweetheart, and their 8 children; there is never a dull moment at home.
Caleb Johnson
Caleb Johnson joined the firm in 2020. Caleb has a large range of experiences including campaign marketing, business strategy, graphic design, public relations, advertising, team building, and branding. Caleb graduated from Liberty University and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Campbell University. Caleb’s favorite part about the construction industry is beauty in a newly constructed building and the photo op that happens soon after. On the weekends Caleb enjoys listening to podcasts while missing turns and getting lost when traveling with his wife.
Glenn Kistler
Chairman and Advisor
Glenn Kistler has been with J. D. Beam, Inc. since 1985 and the company President since 2001. He has 40 years of construction experience and has been the Project Manager for several hundred projects in that time period. Glenn earned a degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1982. Glenn loves the Design-Build process of bringing everyone together under one roof to overcome problems and accomplish the client’s goals to their satisfaction. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, spending time in his workshop, horseback riding, and traveling out west.
Chris Kelley
Chris Kelley has been with our firm since graduating from North Carolina State University in 1995, where he received a degree in Civil Engineering. He has managed both public and private bid projects during his tenure at J. D. Beam, Inc. Chris’ favorite part about construction is collaborating with designers and subcontractors to create the best space possible for tenants and owners. When football is out of season, Chris can be found at the local golf courses.
Tim Manning
In J. D. Beam’s early years he was a Project Manager and is now the chief estimator. This experience allows Tim to have a deep understanding of how projects are put together and as such his estimates have better accuracy. Tim graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
Mike Burns
Mike Burns began his professional career in construction in 1980 after graduating from California State University. He has over 30 years in the construction industry with experience in estimating, project management, scheduling, value engineering, and cost control. Mike has extensive experience in healthcare and life science construction. Mike’s favorite part of the construction industry is seeing the clients’ dreams come true. When Mike is not in the office, he is traveling and sightseeing with his wife.
Gabe Everhart
Gabe joined the firm in 2019 and has 24 years of experience. He is a seasoned Design-Build professional with experience in conceptual estimates, value engineering, and project documentation. Gabe received his Bachelors and Masters in Construction Management from the University of Florida. Gabe loves that the construction industry provides new challenges and never gets boring. After hours Gabe loves hiking with his family and gardening.
Georgeal Johns
Georgeal joined the firm in 2019. He has experience in drafting subcontracts, client relationships, coordinating and managing project tasks, and deliverables. He graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2017. Georgeal’s favorite part about the construction industry is the day to day process of completing a job. On the weekends, Georgeal loves playing pickup soccer games with friends and family.
Tyler Johnson
Tyler joined the construction industry after serving as a law enforcement officer for four years. He started in the industry managing life science projects, but now manages every kind of product type. He brings great attention to detail to every project. Tyler enjoys aligning architects and subcontractors to bring the customer’s project from idea to reality. In his free time, Tyler finds himself fishing and taking photos of his most recent catch.
James Petrucci
Backed by over 17 years of experience in accounting, James joined Beam in 2022. James is highly attentive to detail. He has served as an accountant in numerous industries ranging from automotive to T.V. broadcasting. James graduated from St. John Fisher College, Bitner School of Business. On weekends, James enjoys playing soccer with his kids and traveling to the beach.
Robin McMillan
Robin McMillan joined the firm in 1994. Robin manages accounts payable, coordinates with the office staff, and maintains office procedures. Robin is the first smiling face that greets you at the door. She enjoys spending time with her “hubs” and two sons, and gardening.
